NemKonto abroad

If you have left Denmark and receive public benefits, you should also register a NemKonto.

You are not required to have a NemKonto when you have left Denmark. However, if you receive public benefits, it is a good idea to register a NemKonto. This way, your benefits will always be paid to your account. 

Your NemKonto can be an account with a Danish bank, but it may also be an account with a foreign credit institution. You can select your own NemKonto. You can register your NemKonto via the self-service solution on this site.
