You will receive an activation letter

If you designate a NemKonto or change your current NemKonto through the self-service portal, you will receive an activation letter.

If you have assigned or changed your NemKonto via the NemKonto self-service, an activation letter containing an activation code will be sent to you. The letter is sent by PostNord to the address registered to you in the Civil Registration System (CPR). Therefore, it is important that your address information is correct before you assign or change your NemKonto.

The letter cannot be sent by e-mail or Digital Post.

After you have received the activation letter, please follow the instructions included in the letter.

If you are awaiting a payment from a public authority and wish to have your NemKonto activated more quickly, you can contact your financial institution (e.g., your bank).
