A unique number that identifies a connection agreement. Automatically assigned by NemKonto Support. 

Form that initiates the connection process between NemKonto and the Private Payment Service Provider.

Describes the connection to the NemKonto system for Private Payers that is required to ensure authentication and authorisation for the network infrastructure as well as the technical information for each system to be used when setting up the relevant data transmission software. The agreement is made between a Private Payment System Provider and KMD.

An electronic notification that contains a CPR/SE/P/CVR number that allows the notification to be completed with a NemKonto. Other fields in the payment notification is defined in the approved OIOXML for NemKonto for Private Payers.

Payment notifications are gathered in a bundle from the Private Payment Service Provider that cannot exceed 10,000 payment notifications. The bundle can contain payment notifications from one or more Private Payers.

The process where NemKonto for Private Payers applies either the NemKonto account number or the type of error code that belongs to the submitted CPR/SE/P/CVR number on the forwarded payment notification.

The response to the submitted payment notification that has been completed before being forwarded by the NemKonto system.

Message Queue (MQ) is a system for transferring asynchronous messages. This means that the sender can send messages (payment notifications) independently of the recipient’s (KMD) possibility of processing the payment notification right away. The payment notification is queued and waits until KMD’s system is ready to process it and return a completed payment notification. In practice, however, this process is so quick that the connection is experienced as direct.

OIO stands for Offentlig Information Online (Public Information Online) and XML stands for eXtensible Markup Language. OIOXML is the technical format used to exchange information in the NemKonto system.

P number is an abbreviation for Production Number, which is the registration in the Central Business Register (CVR) of the company’s different geographical locations (production units).

To enable the payment service provider’s systems to exchange information with the NemKonto system, the systems first need to adapt to each other to ensure accordance on which data should be exchanged between the systems and the content and format of the data. Data are exchanged in the interface.

SE is an abbreviation for Stamregister over Erhvervsdrivende (Main Register of Business Owners). The SE number is the company’s registration of administrative units with the Danish Customs and Tax Administration.

The term for the account that has been completed via the NemKonto system.

The purpose of the NemKonto System for the public authorities is to manage payments from the public authorities to all persons, companies and public authorities covered by the Danish Act on Public Payments. These include persons who have attained the age of 18 and who, according to the Civil Registration System (CPR), have been assigned a CPR number and who are not registered as expatriates and well as legal entities and companies that, according to the Central Business Register (CVR), have been assigned a CVR number.

The holder of a NemKonto account number identified by a CPR/CVR/SE/P number.

A system that allows Private Payers to submit payment notifications for completion via Private Payment Service Providers.

A natural person or legal entity that makes payments that are not covered by section 12 of the Danish Act on Public Payments or is a public authority.  The term legal entity covers limited liability companies (A/S), private limited companies (ApS), associations or foundations. A Private Payer is identified by a CVR or CPR number – and in very special cases (primarily bankrupt estates) by a SE number.

Unique number generated by the Private Payer and attached to the payment notifications they send. Also included in the completed payment notification sent from NemKonto for Private Payers to the Private Payment Service Provider. The number identifies the payment that the NemKonto request must use to complete. This identification must be possible when the Danish Agency for Digital Government supervises the use of NemKonto. The number must be unique within a period of the current year and five years back.

A connection agreement is a written agreement between the Private Payment Service Provider and KMD which forms the basis for the connection to NemKonto for Private Payers and thus the right to send payment notifications to the NemKonto system. The connection agreement regulates the administrative relationship between the Private Payment Service Provider and KMD.
